A Late Victorian silver wine ewer by Edward Samuel Jones, Birmingham 1897, of Neo-Classical form with a vase-shaped body, sides centred with vacant shield cartouches framed by scrolls, surrounding by vining grapes repoussé, hinge cover equipped with thumbpiece and fitted with an ebonised scroll handle, on a stepped circular foot, 26.0 cm high (measured at handle), 14.42 ozt.
