An unusual George III mahogany 'Butler's Bottle Carrier' and mahogany stand, with a shaped facility for three bottles and a central shaped hand hold, the separate stand with moulded edges and chamfered square section support, 38 cm x 38 cm x 55 cm high, together with a George III mahogany four-bottle cellarette, with a simple divided interior, and a pair of folding bale handles, supported on shaped bracket feet. 27.5 cm wide x 27 cm deep x 40 cm overall height.

Condition Report
The wine carrier, Generally in good condition, with some signs of restoration in the form of small pins holding on the base board.
The base has had timber applied to the top edge to create a lip for the carrier to sit in, I can't explain if this is an old repair to a former beading or points to the adaptation of a period pedestal washstand.
The box is generally in good order with a nice patio and mellow colour, period brassware, NO key is present.
The box has its internal dividers.
