Following on from the success of our inaugural specialist Decorative Arts auction in 2022, the team at Dawsons are pleased to announce details of our next auction: ‘Decorative Arts & Design: 1860 and Beyond’.

Specialist Peter Mason explains more: “We are excited to be showcasing fascinating items from British, Continental and International Design Movements, and we are confident that they will be highly sought after by collectors and design enthusiasts alike. As ever, the auction will be streamed live to over 10 million active international and UK bidders, and we are expecting a lot of interest from all over the world.”

We are inviting further entries, from pre-Raphaelite art, through the Aesthetic and Arts and Crafts movements, Gothic Revival, Art Nouveau and Art Deco, Modernist and mid-century. Entries are welcome across all categories including ceramics, paintings & prints, jewellery, silver, furniture, glass and the wider decorative arts; from the likes of William Morris, Augustus Pugin, Rene Lalique, Liberty, Tiffany, Lucie Rie, Gallé, William Moorcroft, The Martin Brothers, the Guild of Handicraft and others.
