A Japanese Katana and scabbard, Showa period. The blade with midare hamon, the tang marked for Ido Hidetoshi of Seki, Mino province (井戸 秀俊 Ido Hidetoshi). Fitted a black cord-wrapped ray skin (Samekawa) with chrysanthemum menuki and cloud etched iron tsuba. The plain stained wood scabbard with purple ribbon binding. 68.5 cm length of blade.

The blade is very good perhaps it may have been re-polished
