The original tapestry was designed by Edward Burne-Jones and woven by Morris & Co. in 1895-96. It is one of six panels illustrating the story of the Holy Grail, representing the arming and departure of the knights of the round table.
The pair of smaller machine tapestries are also made in Belgium. They are both 100% cotton and measure 24 cm x 18 cm.
All three tapestries are made by the Belgian company Metrax.
