Christopher Dresser (1834-1904) for Linthorpe pottery a pair of Aesthetic Movement vases of mushroom form, circa 1880, with an incised band of stylised leaves over a flared pedestal base, decorated with a further band of floral motifs, finished in a lustred glaze of greens and browns, shape number 266 mark to bottom, one with impressed factory marks, 20 cm high x 15.5 cm wide.
