The first script: “The Prisoner” Series, “The Queen’s Pawn” by Gerald Kelsey, Everyman Films Ltd., MGM Studios, Borehamwood, Herts, undated, brad bound within titled orange card covers with ‘Construction’ handwritten in ink to top of front cover, 65-pages on white sheets, 21.5 x 33cm.
The second script: “The Prisoner”, “Free For All” by Paddy Fitz, brad bound within titled pale green card covers with ‘Construction’ handwritten in ink to top of front cover, 56-pages on white sheets, 20 ½ x 33cm. (2)
The Prisoner is a British science-fiction television series created, written, and directed by Patrick McGoohan, who used the pseudonym ‘Paddy Fitz’ for the writer credit. McGoohan also starred in the show portraying Number Six, an unnamed British Intelligence agent. A single series of seventeen episodes were filmed from September1966 to January 1968, with exterior location filming primarily taking place in the Welsh seaside village of Portmeirion, and interior scenes filmed at MGM British Studios in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire.
