On the drawing of the lower trigger it holds but does not lock the hammer then once the upper trigger is drawn, it releases the hammer, and the cylinder advances and indexes correctly.
The percussion nipples are intact but some are blocked
The blueing is worn but the steel has a good patina of age
The barrel is free from blanking or blockage
The swivel rammer swings and locates in its keeper as it should
The foresight and rear notch are intact
The chequered wooden pistol grip is in good order without splits or cracks.
It is possible that the box has been adapted for this pistol but is contemporary with it .
