A George III garnet cluster dress ring, and a 19th-century miniature portrait clasp converted brooch. The cluster ring centred with an oval-cut garnet in an openwork mount, set within a frame of circular-cut garnets, to a later-added wire shank, ring head 2.0 x 1.7 cm, size P½; together with a miniature portrait brooch, oval ivory panel painted with a bust portrait of a gentleman, glazed and set to a closed back mount with later-added brooch fittings, unmarked pink metal testing 14ct, 3.4 x 2.7 cm; Total weight of items 10.3 grams.
