John Hurt, plaster life-cast face mask, from the Jim Henson TV series 'The Storyteller' originally aired in 1987 in which John Hurt played The Storyteller. The mask was produced by the art department to make the prosthetics for the character, 27 cm x 17 cm.
From the personal collection of Tim Rose, Animatronic Designer, Performer & Puppeteer, best known for his role as Admiral Ackbar in Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi (1983). Tim also puppeteered the characters of Sy Snoodles and Salacious B. Crumb, and worked on other projects with George Lucas and Jim Henson.
