Condition Report

Both paintings have been lined. Craquelure is visible throughout, most pronounced in the sky. There are areas of separation visible to the dark areas, particularly the lower right corner of each. Surface dirt visible throughout.

Salute: frame abrasion visible to edges, most noticeably scuffing to the left edge. A small flake of paint loss in sky, centre far right.

Doges Palace: abrasion to edges, scuffing to lower right corner and in water on the left.

UV light inspection reveals retuching to edges, infilling of craquelure throughout and scattered areas of minor retouchings.
