Philip Core (1951-89) American, 'Seven Minutes', a limited edition set of seven homoerotic lithographic prints, each showing a man in a different pose and clothing, each stamped with an oval red 'Création de Philip Core' signature blindstamp, with a similar eighth sheet printed with the title, a dedication, and the date, signed in red felt tip 'Philip Core 76', and with a colophon numbered 88 from a limited edition of 110, contained in a blue card folder and a brown paper envelope with Philip Core red stamp, as issued in 1976, A4, approx 29.7cm high. American born artist and writer Philip Core is best known for his book 'Camp: The Lie That Tells The Truth' (1984), and was a familiar figure in London's burgeoning gay and queer LGBT scene during the 1970s & 80s. His work is in the collection of the Arts Council of Great Britain.
