A printed label reads The Dreadnought - 46, Lent by F G Cotman ESQ, bordered with a handwritten ink inscription, 'Burlington Fine Arts Club Exhibition 1880' and 'Exhibited Norwich Exhibition 1833'.
A further applied printed and typed label, for The Norwich Castle Museum, Exhibition of "Norwich School" pictures, 1927, number 149 in catalogue
