George Bourn of London, A George III silver pair cased fusee pocket watch numbered 17558, the case and inner case bearing corresponding hallmarks for London 1788, with engraved back plate and pierced decorative cock plate fitted a Thompion type regulating dial, the slightly convex Roman dial with blued beetle and poker hands.
George Bourn is recorded as reporting a lost watch in 1759, see page 89 of Watchmakers and Clockmakers Of The World, (21st Century Edition) Loomes, Brian.
