An original production [copy], single page depicted four storyboard drawings, numbered 9-12, each annotated with details such as. ‘Dillan is held back by Ripley . . .’, ‘The Alien grabs the body . . .’, ‘ . . . and disappears with it through the door it came from’, ‘Eric looks back at Ripley . . .’, 21 x 29.5cm.

Two Original Production Call Sheets, 20th Century Fox Productions Ltd., director David Fincher, both dated 6 February 1991, the first: Second Unit, No. 10, on yellow sheet, with details for shooting the Interior Ventilation shaft and Interior Infirmary scenes, requirements on set included, Lice, Alien skin, Spitting baby Alien, Man in Alien suit, Clemens Dummy and Head cast of Clemens for Alien kill. the second: Main Unit, No. 18, two-pages on white sheets, with details for shooting the Interior Autopsy scene and Interior Clemens Quarters, main cast required on set included, Sigourney Weaver (Ripley), Charles Dane (Clemens), Brian Glover (Andrews), Ralph Brown (Aaron) and Philip Davis (Kevin), other requirements on set included, Medical saw, Morque sheet, Newt body (prior to incision) coagulated blood for incision, Ripley’s bloodshot eye, and Richard Glass (optician), each 21 x 30cm; together with, Aliens (1986) Original Campaign Screening Programme for the film directed by James Cameron, 21 x 30cm; and Alien III, Cast and Crew black polo shirt, embroidered in red on front left breast, ‘Alien III Pinewood 1991’, label reads, ‘Supa Polos Size XL’. (15).

Director, David Fincher was at one point on the film denied permission by the film’s producers to shoot a crucial scene in the infirmary between Ripley and the Alien. Against orders, he grabbed Sigourney Weaver, a camera and shot the scene anyway. This scene went on to appear in the final cut and prominently in trailers and is regarded by many as the film’s most iconic shot.

The Collection of the late Malcom Christopher (1932-2021). Malcolm worked in the film and television industry as location manager, production manager, production supervisor, associate producer and line producer, his credits include, The Saint (1962-1969), The Persuaders (1971-1972), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), Barry Lyndon (1975), Rollerball (1975), Voyage of the Damned (1976), Raise the Titanic (1980), Never Say Never Again (1983), Superman IV: The Quest for Peace (1987), and many others.
