A fine 19th century Italian micro-mosaic rectangular panel depicting the Roman Forum of the Temple of Vespasian and Titus, further ruins to the background, housed in fruitwood and ormolu-mounted frame with leather back, the whole 18 cm x 23 cm.

Some cracking and a small loose section to the wooden frame, which in fact covers further areas of the panel itself. The panel itself generally good, with surface marks visible commensurate with age
