Condition Report

The canvas is unilned. There are 2 patches to the reverse lower centre, and 1 patch lower right edge, repairing old damages. There is a label pasted onto the canvas, lower right corner. The stretcher marks are visible under raking light. Spots of minor surface dirt and a few scattered scuff and surface scratch marks are visible. Light frame abrasion is visible to the upper edge. The paint surface is thin in places and there are some losses visible to the background on the right of the composition. UV light reveals retouching corresponding to the aforementioned patches, retouching to areas of the background on the right hand side, in the sky and a few touches eslewhere.
