An Essex crystal bee brooch, containing a round rock crystal cabochon with reverse intaglio depicting a bumblebee, collet-set within a tiered surround with bead and wirework details, glazed compartment and brooch fittings to the reverse, unmarked yellow metal testing as 14ct, crystal approximately measures 17.7 mm, overall 2.7 cm wide, total weight of item 11.5 grams.
