Peter Green: A Selection of Sketchbooks Containing Original Artwork By Peter Green, 2010's.
comprising fifteen sketchbooks, the majority spiral-bound, five covers dated '2013', '2014', '2016' and '2018' four of the covers also titled 'Canvey I, Essex', each with approximately 20-50 pages in each book, with every other page with psychedelic artworks in coloured pencil, felt-tip, crayon, pastel, water colour, and acrylic paint, with a poem written by Peter on one of the pages in the London grahic centre notebook which reads 'I've got a seven legged spider let it spy on me; I've got a seven legged spider; Don't let it cry on my shoulder' on a single side leaf of paper, as well as a drawing with a signature by Peter signed faintly in black in 'Greeeenie' on a single side leaf of paper, the largest book measures 30.5 x 21.5 cm.
Peter Green (1946-2020) was a founding member of rock band Fleetwood Mac and the genius behind the hits 'Albatross', 'Black Magic Woman', and 'Man of the World'. He is still widely regarded as one of the greatest guitarists and songwriters of all time, and despite leaving Fleetwood Mac in 1970, Peter’s pioneering talents gained him a following of faithful fans which include fellow legendary guitarists such as Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton, Kirk Hammett, David Gilmour, and Noel Gallagher.
