A large 18th-century Dutch flame grain mahogany double bombe Kast/press cupboard, second half of the 18th century, with an arched top decorated with carved and pierced Neo-Classical mantle, the shaped doors with well-figured flame grain panels opening to an interior lined in thuya and with two suspended candle drawers, The base with three shaped long drawers all with ormolu handles and mounts, the whole supported by splayed feet. 194 cm wide x 66 cm deep x 257 cm overall height.

The Kast is in very good order with good patina and colour, the pegs that hold it together may have been replaced, this came from a very large country house that was occupied and this piece was in daily use.
The upper doors have a working key but the drawers do not have a key
