After Thomas Sutherland or George Smart, a scarce folk art scrimshaw cow horn beaker, early 19th-century, naive worked with scenes from "The Earth Stopper", an engraving by Thomas Sutherland, reworked in a naive interpretation by George Smart in his fabric and painted versions of the satirical print. 6.5 cm diameter x 8.5 cm overall height
