A late 19th century French black chinoiserie lacquered upright pianoforte by Roz of Paris, on twisted baluster column supports with gilt brass candle sconces and folding carry handles. 126cm long x 56cm deep x 121cm high.

Surface scratches, loses to lacquer and applied moldings, lacquer cracks on sides. Lid has de-tached, hinges pulled out, see pictures. Some Ivory keys discoloured and end-caps missing on two keys. Lower panel loose. Needs re-tuning.
