The front of the Cabinet card depicts eight oval portrait photographs of orchestral conductors and singers associated with the Bayreuth Festspielhaus, surrounding an image of the opera house built by composer and conductor, Richard Wagner, with eight corresponding signatures on the reverse handwritten in blue and black ink, to include, Anton Van Rooy Dutch opera singer (1870-1932), Philip Brozel Russian born opera singer (1866-1927), Siegfried Wagner (1869-1930) composer and conductor, the son of Richard Wagner and artistic director of the Bayreuth Festival from 1908 to 1930, Hans Richter Austro-Hungarian conductor (1843-1916), Dr. Karl Muck Hessian born conductor (1859-1940), Dr. Felix Kraus Austrian opera singer (1870-1937), and two others, 10.5 x 15.5cm.
