A Japanese sugi (cedar) Keyaki (elm) Mizuya cabinet, Meiji period, the upper section with two sliding wire grille doors above five short drawers fitted with iron handles over the base section fitted a further pair of sliding panelled doors on a simple plinth base, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. 121 cm wide x 48 cm deep x 168 cm overall height.
Mizuya refers to a "water room" or kitchen.
