An Early 19th-century Italian micromosaic brooch by Gioacchino Barberi (1783–1857), the bevelled rectangular Belgian marble plaque centred by a micromosaic depiction of a polychromatic flower spray, signed 'G.Barberi' to the verse, in a later frame mount with brooch fittings, yellow metal testing 14ct, overall dimensions including frame 5.2 x 4.6 cm, total weight of item 24.8 grams.
