A brooch of a perching butterfly, consisting of pear-cut diamonds as antenna, brilliant-cut diamonds as the thorax, wings decorated with geometric designs on fully pavéd white and yellow diamonds, estimated with a grand total weight of 1.60ct, further decorated with triangular step-cut sapphires, and bordered with calibré-cut rubies, emeralds and sapphires, brooch fittings to the reverse, unmarked bi-coloured metal testing as 18ct, 3.6 x 3.3 cm, total weight 12.4 grams.
