A unique and comprehensive collection of archive material, illustrating the creative process of Vivian Stanshall and the Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band, comprising Vivian's 1960s art college notebook, titled 'History of Art Notebook', containing hand-written academic work to the first section, before moving onto topics related to the Bonzo Dog Doh Dah Band, sketches, early setlists, hand-written lyrics to 'I'm Going to Bring my Girl a Watermelon Tonight' and further unpublished early Bonzos songs, a further notebook containing music for 'Jollity Farm' and unpublished and unfinished Bonzo lyrics and notes (1964-65), a red-bound book containing 'Radio Flashes' notes and early drafts including 'Col Knutt', 'The Pianist' and Start the Week (1970-71), and a collection of large-size negatives of Bonzo publicity photographs.
