Jaeger-LeCoultre for Kutchinsky – An 18ct Gold Diamond-set Concealed Cocktail Watch

Comprising a central foliate motif formed of raised batons and further highlighted with a raised cluster of eighteen graduating round brilliant-cut diamonds, the foliate motif bordered at the lugs by further foliate motifs, each grain-set with graduating round brilliant-cut diamonds and interspersed by an articulated three-stone diamond cluster, the central foliate motif hinged and opening to reveal a silvered dial with baton numerals and dauphine hands, the dial signed ‘Jaeger-LeCoultre’, the watch to an integral fancy bar-link graduating clasp, completed with a box clasp with additional safety catch, inner circumference approximately 17.5cm, the watch with a Jaeger-LeCoultre manual wind movement numbered ‘1498358’, case back marked with reference number ‘4789’, case back hallmarked internally for London 1960, clasp stamped for Kutchinsky and featuring London hallmarks for 1962, with Kutchinsky box, 82.7 grams.

Slight discolouration to metal, particularly in areas of finer detail and to hinge of foliate motif.

Slight debris and discolouration to dial.

Slight debris throughout; this piece may benefit from a professional clean.

Clasp in good working order.

Crown (to case back) in good working order.

One screw to case back is missing half of the screw head (concealed under crown). Other case back screw spins in track.

Slight wear to box commensurate with age.
