A mid-20th Century emerald and diamond bracelet, comprising a central claw-set cushion-shaped emerald cabochon of 14.1mm x 12.0mm x 6.0mm, encircled by claw-set graduating old-mine and old-European cut diamonds, the central emerald flanked either side with a curved link, channel-set with four baguette-cut diamonds, connecting the central segment to two stylised tulip-shaped sections, featuring lightly scalloped edges and pavé-set with graduating old-European cut diamonds, the tulip forms each encircling a claw-set oval-shaped emerald cabochon, further linked by another diamond-set curved link to a smaller section of replicated tulip design, also pavé-set with old-European cut diamonds and encircling an oval-shaped emerald cabochon, the smaller tulip forms accented by a single claw-set old-European cut diamond to the end of the segment, the bracelet highlighted at each end with a triple-row of six claw-set old-mine cut diamonds, the bracelet terminated at each end by a motif of scrolled design, pavé-set with single-cut diamonds, the bracelet completed with a concealed box clasp and additional safety catch, the thumbpiece featuring a single column of three graduating collet-set old-mine cut diamonds, the bracelet measuring approximately 17.0cm in length, 2.7cm at widest point, accompanied by Collingwood Ltd box, 63.3 grams.

Estimated total diamond weight of central section (old-mine cut & old-European cut dimaonds): 3.75ct

Please note all stones have been measured within their mounts and the values are subject to change following the stones being unset.

The emeralds exhibit some surface-reaching fractures.

Accompanied by two loose double-row diamond-set links (the two rows disconnected on one of the links).

It is our opinion that the central section of this bracelet originates from an earlier piece (brooch?). We believe the tulip sections are from a later piece of jewellery reformed into this bracelet.
