An Honourable Corps of Gentlemen-at-Arms brooch in 9ct gold, with a blue enamel garter inscribed 'Her Majesty's Body guard' encircling the Beaufort portcullis embellished with diamond accents, with enamelled crown surmount, brooch fittings to the back, Birmingham 2009, 3.4 cm, 8.4 grams.
Belongs to Lieutenant Colonel J H Fisher OBE RM, who joined the Royal Marines in 1958, has been invited in 1990 to become part of the Gentlemen-at-Arms, and attended upon the Monarch, including the Openings of Parliament, and the lying in state of HM the Queen Mother etc.
