the complete set of 256 lithographs in five volumes, 240 printed in colours, after posters by Jules Chéret (1836-1932), Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec (1864-1901), Alphonse Mucha (1860-1939), Paul Berthon (1872-1909), Eugène Grasset (1841-1917), Théophile Alexandre Steinlen (1859-1923), the Beggarstaff Brothers and others, on wove paper, the colours fresh, each volume with title, preface by Roger Marx, list of plates and index, each plate with the blindstamp (Lugt 1777c), all volumes bound in plain cloth bindings approximately 40 x 30 cm, sheets approximately 39.3 x 28.5 cm

Condition Report

Each volume varies slightly in height and width. Plates vary in condition - some with staining, scattered foxing, some plates have been trimmed close to the blindstamp and plate number. Paper is cream and not pink as appears in the catalogue illustration. Bindings in worn and fairly poor condition.
