A Meissen porcelain figure group of the 'Discovered Lover', modelled after the original by Johann Joachim Kaendler and painted in enamels, depicting a couple in a bed, she taking breakfast (with Cupid hiding behind her), and he letter in hand distracted by a dog under the bed, a second male figure lying on the floor, holding clothing, blue crossed swords and incised letters to the base, the main group 12 cm high x 19 cm wide x 12 cm.

No major damage or repairs evident. Some firing cracks to the underside of the main group.
