Honorary Academy Award winner, Peter O’Toole’s Baume & Mercier watch.
A Baume & Mercier Riviera Swiss-made quartz watch, featuring a steel octagon shape case measuring 35.5mm, with a slight 'tropical' off-white dial and date aperture at 3 o'clock. With gold baton indexes and hands, covered with sapphire crystal glass all on bi-metal steel and 18ct gold articulated bracelet with folding clasp.
The watch was worn by Peter O'Toole to many public events throughout his career; most memorably the 75th Academy Awards in 2003, where Meryl Streep presented him with the Academy Honorary Award for his lifelong contribution to the film industry. The watch was also worn by O’Toole for numerous TV appearances including his 1983 Letterman interview where he famously wore a watch on each wrist.
