A ruby, diamond and pearl brooch cum pendant, of rhombus shape, constructed with a daisy flowerhead element centred with a round pearl and further encrusted with rose-cut diamonds, encompassed within an oval frame with calibré-cut rubies, highlighted with split pearls at cardinal points, superimposed upon a rhombus surround accented rubies in a slightly raised calibré setting, outlined with rose-cut diamonds in milgrained mount, screw-attached with brooch fittings to verso, and an associated bail engraved with date "28th Sept 1878"; unmarked bi-coloured metal testing as silver on 18ct gold, panel measures 6.2 x 5.1 cm, total weight of item 32.1 grams.
