A pair of George II diamond and pearl drop earrings, circa 1750, of foliate design, closed-back mounts encrusted with rose-cut diamonds, suspending a potato-shaped pearl below, to later-added screw-back fittings, testing as silver, 3.5 cm drop, in a S. J. Phillips case, 10.1 grams.
The item is subjected to a verbal report from Gemmological Certification Services confirming they are natural saltwater pearl. Ref: 5785-2765.
