A Cameroonian monkey skull fetish figure with coconut husk fibre ruff, 32 cm high and a collection of ethnographic masks including a Lega mask with a horsehair beard, a possibly Dan mask with pronounced upper lip and pierced decorations together with two other carved wood African and one composition mask. (6)
NOTE: The black tribal mask, second from left in the main image is made from a form of resin composition and not carved wood, the weight of this mask is disproportionate and on inspection, it is apparent that the mask is not carved but most likely moulded but with colourants to give the impression of ebony
