A late Victorian gem-set brooch, of scrollwork design, centred with an oval-cut ruby, to an openwork mount encrusted with graduated old-cut diamonds, further embellished with two round pearls, brooch fittings to the back, unmarked metal testing as 14ct, 3.0 x 2.7 cm, 7.3 grams.
