The Collection of the late Mickey Sullivan (1948-2020) who was guitar and keyboard tech for many bands and artists, including Leonard Cohen from 2008 until Cohen’s last tour, The Old Ideas Tour (2012-2013).
Malcolm ‘Mickey’ Sullivan left school at 16 to look after his younger siblings, then married and moved to the north-east of England where his love of music started to blossom. Mickey later moved to London, worked as a DJ in clubs and learnt the guitar and piano. Following a move to Scotland, where he worked as a taxi driver and successfully managed a local band, Mickey moved back to London and worked on tour as a very successful guitar tech with numerous bands and artists including, Carlos Santana, BB King, The Temptations, The Four Tops, Gladys Knight, The Offspring, Elvis Costello, Midge Ure, Oasis, Macy Gray, The Mavericks, and his good friend Leonard Cohen to name a few.
