A Chinese bronze sword, Han Dynasty (206 BC- 220 AD), cast with a disc rim forming the pommel, the hollow hilt with two raised bands, the guard decorated with taotie mask, the blade formed with scrolling and linear decoration to both sides of the median ridge, 34.6cm long

Condition Report

A restored chip to the pommel. A repair where the hilt joins the blade above the guard. Surface marks throughout.
