An early 20th Century sapphire and diamond bow brooch, set with calibre-cut blue sapphires and rose-cut diamonds, with millegrain edge detailing, unmarked, surface testing as 18ct, the brooch measuring 4.0cm x 1.5cm, with pin and hook fitting to reverse, weight 9.1 grams.

Condition Report
Some wear and scratches in keeping with age.
Small conchoidal fracture near the girdle of one of the larger sapphires, other sapphires show some minor abrasion and wear to facet edges.
One diamond missing from the outside border of the bow.
Some wear to the white metal top layer with yellow metal showing beneath; top would benefit from rhodium plating.
Brooch fitting in good working condition and seems secure.
Would benefit from a light clean.
