A late Victorian shamrock brooch set with opal, diamond and demantoid garnet, the three-leafed clover composed of heart-shaped opal cabochons displaying strong spectral play-of-colours, framed within borders alternating with circular-cut demantoid garnets and old-cut diamonds, brooch fittings and safety chain to verso, 3.4 x 2.6 cm, total weight 5.7 grams.
