An unheated Ceylon sapphire and diamond trilogy ring,the oval mixed-cut sapphire of intense purplish-blue, measuring 12.7 x 7.9 x 7.0 mm, flanked by two early brilliant-cut diamonds, with an estimated total weight of 2.05ct, set to a wire mount and shank, unmarked white metal testing as platinum, ring size N, total weight 6.0 grams.
A verbal assessment of the Gemmological Certification Services confirms sapphire to be Sri Lankan in origin, with no indications of heating. Ref. 5784-3298
