Selling Chopard Watches with Dawsons

Limited editions, vintage models, and watches from sought-after collections such as Happy Sport, Mille Miglia, L.U.C, and Imperiale tend to perform particularly well. Timepieces with box and papers, and those in excellent condition, are especially desirable to collectors.

Chopard watches are renowned for their precision and craftsmanship. If you're unsure about the authenticity of your watch, our experienced watch specialists can assist. Simply request a valuation, and we’ll carry out an expert assessment as part of the process.

Many Chopard watches retain value well due to the brand’s heritage, craftsmanship, and strong international demand. Models with diamonds or complications such as moonphases or chronographs may command higher prices.

Yes, there is growing collector interest in vintage Chopard timepieces, particularly those from the 1960s–1980s. Watches from this era with original parts and minimal restoration can be especially attractive at auction.

Absolutely. If your Chopard watch features high jewellery elements — such as diamond bezels, gold cases, or mother-of-pearl dials — it may appeal to both watch collectors and jewellery buyers, often achieving impressive prices.

Leanr More About Chopard

Chopard, founded in Bern in 1860 by artisan watchmaker Louis-Ulysse Chopard, is best known for its uniquely designed and high quality wristwatches and jewellery. It's most recognisable and possibly unique offering, the 'Happy Diamonds' watch was created in 1976 and whilst initially aimed at gentlemen, found favour with the ladies market. Some time later in 1993 Chopard released the 'Happy Sports' watch, with variants featuring cases manufactured in both steel and precious metals, and with the Maison's signature 'floating diamonds' again present. Further releases that assisted in the brands ascendancy to respected sports watch manufacturer include the St Moritz and its contemporary, the Alpine Eagle.

The brand has always had a close connection to motor racing, becoming a partner of the legendary Mille Miglia in 1988 and subsequently releasing its popular series of gentleman’s timepieces by the same name. Additionally, following this success in the motorsport world, Chopard in 2002 announced its appointment as official timekeeper of the elegant Grand Prix de Monaco Historique- again releasing a popular linked collection of wristwatches.
